So it's been a few months since my last post. I've been quite busy, as the Marine Corps is generally about. I got married to a beautiful girl, moved into a great beach house, and got a bunch of new toys.
At the moment, I'm looking at my desk and I see my PG 00 Raiser, my 75% complete PG Strike, my MG Nu "awaiting VP Resin upgrade to the Evolve version" my MG Sazabi "awaiting titanium red paint to match my Sinanju :O" , my MG Hi-Nu, all on the right. On the left I've got my MG 00 Quanta, my custom arctic scheme MG Exia "really did turn out beautifully, all airbrushed" My MG Sinanju with custom ruby red metallic paint "Another airbrush job with Tamiya mixes" and my MG Full MS Cage Unicorn, awaiting a coat of Pearl White.
Those are my computer's "guardians" I suppose. Really just to keep me sane when I'm home from a long days work, just looking at what I've accomplished makes me smile.
On my work bench, I've got my LONG AWAITED MG RX-78-2 O.Y.W. Edition with "drumroll please" the RX-78-2 Evolve 15 Resin Kit! I cannot wait to get that going, I've got the legs all primed and ready, the rest of the kit has been cleaned from residue and such and mostly clipped etc, really just waiting for a day like, well, today actually! It's fairly rainy out and I just got done running with my wife so I'm probably going to continue on that.
The Gray Wolf is experiencing technical difficulties at the moment, kind of screwed up the wing pack and "ahem" lost a key part... which kind of didn't work out too well anyhow, it's a junky design that didn't come together too great... So I'll probably just perma-fix it with putty and super glue, it's not going to transform, I've decided.
And after the Strike is done "really not much left other than the armaments and arms, only custom bit was white/offwhite/eggshell white panels to make it look more crude and realistic, along with titanium blue for the chest bit which turned out great" and the Wolf is fixed up, and finally once I'm up and running/finished with the RX-78 Evo15, I've got a project kit I haven't even opened yet... From the same Evolve movie as the Wolf.. Strike white Zeta. That kit is AMAZING. The resin is cast perfectly, almost as great as the RX-78's Evo kit. Thanks E2046.com!! You guys are amazing, and special thanks to Tatsuhobby for ordering the RX Evo15 kit specially for me.
Well, I'll be uploading pix soon, here's a few of my desk :3 My wife's actually sitting down with her 20th Anniversary MSZ-006 Zeta Titanium Finish MG :O She's loving Gunpla, which is probably why I married her, that and she's stunning.
